Comox Valley driver celebrates the power of positivity with ‘Lei Day’
I requested a couple of times to BC Transit asking if I could wear my Lei while driving my route. Upon hearing of “Lei Day” BC Transit actually came to me asking if I would wear my biggest and brightest Lei on my route May 5th and document my day through pictures and video. Attached is their story of my journey! Enjoy!

I had always wanted to see what lemon-aid looked like from a distance – I was always in the drivers seat. In a repair shop in Winnipeg, MB lemon-aid was spotted by a passerby. His passion was making video’s of classic cars and their owners. I had hit the jackpot. He turned out to be a recent immigrant from Jamaica and was hoping to launch his new career. I was to be his first client. I am very grateful to Lionel for his work.
