“Would you like us to save them for you Flowerman
?”

– Grilled Cheese – Corn Dog – Chicken Strips –
“How can I turn this unique opportunity that has just presented itself into helping out some young families.” That’s exactly the immediate thought process The Flowerman
had gone through when he was given his first “Free Kids Meal” at the check out at Quality Foods the other day. With every purchase of $75.00 or more you are presented with a free food voucher.

Been another life since having children 12 and under was under his roof. Accepting anyway his “Free Kids Meal” voucher knowing he could find a grateful young family to offer it to. Then asking the cashier what they did with any unwanted vouchers knowing lots of customers would be empty nesters too. “We’re never really sure what to do with them. Would you like us to save them for you Flowerman
?”

This was exactly what he had hoped to hear. He knew he could find a few families to offer free food to, to offer a helping hand.
Yesterday The Flowerman
walked to Quality Foods Driftwood Mall to pick up any free food vouchers they had saved. MIND BLOWN! The store manager went to the customer service desk and grabbed a huge bundle of “Free Kids Meal” vouchers that all the cashiers had been setting aside for him. A loud “WOOHOO” was heard as The Flowerman
held all these valuable vouchers knowing of all the smiles he would soon be bringing. We all know how the cost to live has increased exponentially these days.

Below are just a few of the smiles generated yesterday on the Love Bus.
– Two young mothers board the Love Bus with their baby strollers. Between the two of them they have 5 children under 12. 5 “Free Kids Meal” vouchers handed out with smiles.
– The Flowerman
sees a young child in the aisle of his crowded Love Bus and asks “how old are you sweetie?” She replies “I’m almost 9, and I’m the oldest.” 3 “Free Kids Meal” vouchers given to grandma with smiles.

– A favourite 16 year old Ukrainian refugee who always exits the Love Bus out the front service bay doors to thank The Flowerman
for the ride home gets asked “do you have any brothers or sisters at home that are 12 or under?” She replies “yes, I have a brother and a sister under 12.” 2 “Free Kids Meal” vouchers given to this 16 year old Ukrainian refugee with a smile who says “Thank you Flowerman
, I think I’ll take them out to supper myself tonight.”

Thank you Quality Foods Driftwood Mall for allowing The Flowerman
to bring so many smiles to so many families. If you would like a “Free Kids Meal” voucher for yourself, just ask.

Stay tuned!
