Picking up lots of waiting passengers at the bus stop closest to the Courtenay Hospital yesterday, most are international students attending North Island College, some have just come from the Hospital. One young woman asks The Flowerman at the fare box “l just got out of the hospital, do you go downtown getting me close to Connect shelter?” The reply “you’re on the right bus, The Love Bus. It will get you there.”

It will get you there.”With the Love Bus in motion The Flowermanhad an idea. He saw on the dashboard in front of him two (2) pieces of individually wrapped homemade banana bread. Calling this young woman up to the fare box The Flowerman asks “would you like a piece of my homemade banana bread, I just made it last night. It didn’t rise as it should, I forgot to add the melted butter before putting it into the oven. I quickly pulled the pan out of the oven to stir in the butter. It still tastes great though. I have two (2), one’s (1) for you.”
