To :Be Grateful” or to “Be Kind”, it’s your choice.

As The Flowerman was driving his Love Bus the other day a young student walked up the centre aisle to ask The Flowerman a question. He was 12 years old at most. “Flowerman, do you have a pen i can borrow?” A good Transit Bus operator always has a pen tucked into his high visibility work vest pocket. The Flowerman always has two, one to keep and one to give away. Showing both to his new friend and choosing the “Be Grateful” pen to write with, his new friend walks back to his seat to work on his homework. It was a long route that day with lots of passengers boarding and disembarking, The Flowerman had honestly forgotten about the borrowed pen. But not his new friend. Before stepping off the Love Bus out the rear service bay doors, his friend walked up to the front and says “thanks for the pen Flowerman” and offers it back in return. The Flowerman then replies while holding up the ‘Be Grateful’ pen “remember to always be _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _” Filling in the blank his new friend says “Grateful” as the Flowerman offers him his “Be Grateful” pen as a gift.
